1 Peter 2:13-17

Today we begin a new series in our journey through the book of 1 Peter. Peter has thus far emphasized our position in Christ and our citizenship in Heaven. We are exiles. pilgrims, simply passing through this world we live in. As Kingdom citizens this world is not our home. However, Peter beginning 1n 1 Peter 2:13 shifts his emphasis to how we as Christians are to live in this temporary residence surrounded by a society who is not sensitive to the things of God. In fact, often times the culture is outright hostile to Christian values. How are we to live? In one word, different.
