The Gospel is Transformation (Galatians 4:12-20)
What we have in these verses is what appears to be a bit of an interruption…Paul needs to express his heart to his children in the faith. What we have here is a loving Pastor admonishing a straying flock. What a beautiful illustration of how we should feel, what we should emphasize, and how we should express ourselves when we see others drifting from the true Gospel and seeking to return to their formal lives apart from Christ!
In the words of John Stott:
In Galatians one through 3, we have been listening to Paul the Apostle, Paul the theologian, Paul the defender of the faith. But now we are hearing Paul the man, Paul the pastor, Paul the passionate lover of souls —John Stott
Paul pleads with these Christians to consider three reminders as he seeks to pour out his heart to the Galatians
